Welcome to Mr Wilson's Year 3/4 class.

Unit focus for Term 1:

What if you were a Richmond Birdwing Butterfly?

What if your home and family was destroyed through land clearing and the introduction of a poisonous vine?

What if you were nearly extinct?

This term our unit focus is the study of the plight of the Richmond Birdwing Butterfly. What can we do to help save this innocent beautiful creature?

What if you were a kid in our Year 3 / 4 class who could make a difference?

Would you support a letterbox drop supplying information about the butterfly’s plight and how we can all make a difference??

*Units for terms 2, 3 and 4 include: ‘This is Australia’, ‘Ipswich’, and ‘Natural Disasters’. (*subject to change)

Homework:

Students will be issued with homework booklets. Each week there will be a new spelling list and number study focus to be completed in your child’s home work books. Nightly home reading, spelling and times tables will be signed off each morning from Tuesday to Friday.

Communication with Mr. Wilson:

For any minor concerns a note with your child’s homework will be sufficient. If you would like to make an appointment for an interview, please contact the school office on 38135222. Alternatively, please check at the office if you’d like to have a quick chat before school as I’m usually in the classroom by 8.30am.
